Best Tuna Salad EVER

I've been on the search for a delicious tuna salad recipe for quite some time now. It seems like the ones I always throw together are either too runny or too tangy or just too funky. But thanks to my wonderful Mom, I have found the BEST tuna salad recipe EVER!
My Mom threw this together as more of a chicken 'dip' with crackers, but I just subbed out the chicken for tuna and slapped it on some whole wheat bread. Phenomenal!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cans (10 ounces total) solid white albacore tuna
  • 1 packet of Knorr dry vegetable soup
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can water chestnuts (buy the sliced and save yourself time)

Directions:

  • Drain tuna, set aside.
  • Crush up veggie soup mix in the packet by using a rolling pin
  • Chop up the water chestnut slices into fairly small pieces
  • Throw everything together and mix
  • Put in the fridge for at least an hour and enjoy

This was honestly an amazing tuna salad. But you could turn it into chicken salad (like my Mom did) by simply adding a can of white chicken.

Mmmmm! Thanks Momma!
