Halloween fun!

We had a BLAST on Halloween this year! Our friends host an annual Halloween party and this year definitely did not disappoint us. With that being said, I always like to bring something fun as a treat. This year I branched out into cupcakes and I'm relatively happy with the result. Keep in mind, the only 'chef' effort was the decorating.... the rest was out of the box!

Ingredients:
  • Cake mix
  • Marshmallows
  • Junior Mints (I used carmel)
  • Chocolate chips
  • White frosting (I used Cream Cheese frosting because it's just so darn good)
  • Almond slivers

Directions:

  • Bake cupcakes per your box directions and cool entirely
  • Cut marshmallows in half
  • Peel open part of the muffin paper end to fit the half marshmallow in (this makes the jaw)
  • Frost the cupcake included the marshmallow
  • Place Junior Mints in the position of eyes
  • Place a chocolate chip in position of the nose
  • Add almond slivers as a funky mouth

My husband said it looked more like a logo for the Punisher movie than it did skull cupcakes. But hey, I'm trying! ;)
