Gameday Breakfast!

Since the Hawkeyes didn't play until 2:30 on Saturday, Drew and I got to sleep in and then make a big yummy breakfast together. One of our wedding presents that we received was a Digital Griddle (http://tinyurl.com/5rxmdx). We decided to take it out of the box and give it a whirl! On it we made bacon and sausage while I whipped up some eggs. In order to add some fun to our gameday breakfast, I created Eggs in a Helmet:



Ingredients:

• Piece of bread
• Egg
• Cookie cutter

Directions:

• Use cookie cutter of any shape and cut out the middle of the bread.
• Put bread in a greased skillet (I used Pam spray)
• Crack an egg into the middle of your shape
• Cook on both sides until you get your desired egg consistancy
• Slap a little jelly on your extra cut out piece of toast
